Well, I had a good early start to the March Break. Got several pages of scribbles off my todo list, including looking up the lyrics for more songs.

Added special printing paper a while ago. printpaper. Now you can get the spacing that works for your own kid, rather than whatever the school exercise books does. Crackers writes much, much neater at size 9 than at the larger size his writing exercise book says is best for kids his age.
And today I'm adding Occupational Hazards (aka the coma stories) and Evasion to the FanFiction page.

It's done! The old site is completely moved over.
Lots of new stuff in Plagiarism and Quickies. Still a few stubs to fill in when I'm feeling like it. Original Fiction has more. Added my kids' favourite links and a spot for Dad, who probably won't use it. The Nonfiction section has a lot of new stuff.
So, now to go back to the stuff written between the green site and starting this one, and get it polished and up.

In the middle of some restructuring. Many thanks to the PmWiki user group, without whom I'd be reinventing not only the wheel, but also the triangle and lever.
Note the addition of an "are you human" check to the email form on Feedback.

Guestbook and email form working properly now. Might dig into the PHP and get rid of some extra lines, but not today.

Dad now has his own link on the sidebar. He's also got his own UserID and password. Here's hoping he fills his space with those Engineer In Residence presentations.

More work on the site.
Technical details: More of the information is in the Site.Sidebar, less is in the actual template. Also invoked AuthUser.
What it means to most readers: No more seeing random words pop up when you move the mouse around. And a new link on the left, to log in, should you wish to try it without a password.
I suppose I should move this sort of thing to the "Recent Changes" section. I'll do that once I get things more stable.

Started the grand project.
I've changed the look and feel of the site. I'm now using PmWiki(approve sites) for the site, with the RoseTrellis? skin. (My skin; I made it! :) )
The old site in now at www.onebit.ca/cricket2 . It will stay there until I have everything copied over.
